Modern Montessori London Pre-School’s patented program has been specially developed to help each child achieve full potential in all areas of life. The proposed ‘Whole Child’ approach allows children to experience the joy of learning, while Montessori activities take full advantage of their innate desire to explore experiment, discuss and develop the skills needed to help them attain their full potential.
The MMI curriculum is tailor-made by highly qualified early childhood professionals to meet children’s learning needs. It is vital that preschools offer a holistic and well-rounded program to children. MMI’s comprehensive curriculum includes core Montessori components like Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics and Cultural Studies as well as Thematic-based Teaching.
Montessori Methodology helps each child spontaneously reach his or her full potential – intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Teaching values at our school are aimed towards imparting qualities of self-confidence, poise, a spirit of sharing, and exemplary social behaviour.
“Learning is an exciting process of discovery, leading to concentration, motivation, self-discipline and a love for learning.”

Learning Programmes at MMI
The toddler and play group programme is designed to give a child the basic foundation for learning .The child develops self-confidence, independence, and concentration through Montessori activities. The programme refines the five senses- sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch to prepare the child for an all-round development.
In continuation with early learning experience at the playgroup, children of this age group are able to work with complex exercises. Activities are mainly hands-on and set the basis for further development of abstract concepts. Word building exercises, pre-writing skills, mathematical concepts and subjects like Botany, Zoology , History and Geography are introduced at this stage. The learning experience will provide the child with necessary tools to ensure a comfortable transition into our kindergarten programme.
Kindergarten I & II
Children are prepared for even more complex exercises in a disciplined manner. They are encouraged to learn both through structured activities and independently via exploration, discovery and manipulation. They are also involved in early science and cultural activities which introduce the child to the natural environment. Apart from skills and knowledge children at this stage cultivate sound morals, strength of character, healthy habits, team spirit and an aesthetic appreciation for the world around them. By the end of this programme the child is ready to move to a formal school.
To inculcate reading habit in the early years MMI has a well-equipped library with books on various topics which include plant life, animal kingdom, transportation, history, different countries of the world and the Universe. The collection of books enhances the learning in the curriculum and encourages interest in a wide variety of topics. To develop a passion for reading that will last a life time, stories are read out to children and they are helped to make story related craft work.
The Pre-school meal plan is designed to provide a wholesome and nutritious diet that ensures the child has boundless energy for the day. Food preferences and food allergies are kept in mind while planning the menu. The meal plan offers a variety of tastes in child sized portions to help children grow up into healthy beings and develop healthy eating habits.
MMI is dedicated to provide a safe and secure learning environment for the wonderful children entrusted in our care. We are fully equipped with CCTV , firefighting system, round the clock security and an elaborate authorisation card system for picking up the child from school.
